This Privacy Policy explains how Zymofar Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Zymofar", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit zymofar.com, submit an enquiry, apply for a job, or use our software products (WiderERP, RetailMass, RestroPro and related services). It is written to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, business name, email address, phone number, city, business type, the message you write in a form, and — for career applications — your CV.
- Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website, and approximate city (derived from IP). We use Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion tracking; these set cookies described in section 5.
- Product data: when you use our software, business records you enter (inventory, invoices, customers) are processed on your behalf. You remain the owner of that data.
2. How we use it
- To respond to demo requests, quotations and support enquiries.
- To deliver, secure and improve our software and services.
- To send service updates and, with your consent, product news. You can opt out at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or emailing us.
- To measure website performance and advertising effectiveness.
- To evaluate job applications.
- To comply with legal obligations, including GST and tax record-keeping.
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate (hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing), bound by confidentiality obligations;
- Authorised Zymofar implementation partners in your region, when you request a local demo or support;
- Government or law-enforcement authorities when required by law.
4. Retention
Enquiry and lead records are kept for up to 3 years from your last interaction. Website visitor logs are deleted after 400 days. Job applications are kept for 12 months unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Product data is retained for as long as your subscription is active and for 90 days afterwards to allow export, unless a longer period is required by law.
5. Cookies
We use a session cookie required for form security, and analytics/advertising cookies set by Google Tag Manager and Google Ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work, but some measurements will be lost. We also store your last-detected city in your browser's local storage purely to personalise the page you see; it is never sent to us.
6. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled servers. Access to lead and customer data is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to marketing. Write to info@zymofar.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Children
Our website and products are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
